A native’s ‘Love Letters to Michigan”

We talk with writer Christine Lasek. Now based in Athens, Georgia, the Michigan native has just published her first collection of short stories called “Love Letters to Michigan.”

Writer Christine Lasek grew up in Michigan, and you call tell that even though she now lives down south, her roots here continue to influence her work. She’s just published her first collection of short stories, and she called it “Love Letters to Michigan.”

Current State’s Scott Pohl talked Christine Lasek her about her work and the theme here: love letters to her home state.

Scott Pohl has maintained an on-call schedule reporting for WKAR following his retirement after 36 years on the air at the station.
