Michigan brewer part of mead "renaissance"

Michigan is quietly carving out a place in the world of mead. Mead is an alcoholic beverage brewed from honey. Just like wine, it can be sweet or dry. It can be carbonated or still.The website ratebeer.com says half of the top ten meads brewed in the world are being brewed in Michigan.
