RIP Fats Domino; The World Series; University of Michigan Football; Kevin Moore; Inner City Baseball; Future of Sports Journalism; Callers.

Baseball has officially entered its final stanza of the year, with the World Series underway. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros are dueling it out, and lots of "Current Sports with Al Martin" fans are favoring the Astros. Al speculates why, while he and engineer Isaac Constans provide a quick Game One rewind. There's more on the table for today, with the University of Michigan football team receiving some questioning glances. Al looks at the situation in Ann Arbor that has left the Wolverines unranked. Next, Kevin Moore joins the show. The PA announcer for Wayne State baseball and a former player, Kevin is now figuring out the life of sports journalism as a freelance writer, and speaking with Al, he gives some insight into the modern sports media climate. Callers weigh in, but the center of the talk focuses in on baseball. In cities like Detroit, the game fails to attract inner city, African-American players, so those present on the show seek to find out why.Following a fascinating resolution to the conversation, the late Fats Domino plays out.
