In this edition of "Current Sports with Al Martin," the crew breaks down the college football playoff picture. It's Championship Week,  and Al and engineer Isaac Constans examine the intriguing scenarios that could play out based on this weekend's results. The Michigan State football team succeeded in their quest to "flip it," as Coach Mark Dantonio said, and Al gives his thoughts on the Spartans' impending bowl game placement.The Detroit Lions are battling for a playoff spot, and Al discusses their chances at obtaining a coveted Wild Card spot. To close the show, James Edwards III of The Athletic joins the show to talk all things Detroit Pistons, including their win over the Eastern Conference leaders, the Boston Celtics. James also discusses the crowd attendance at the new arena, and the improvement of key players like Andre Drummond.
