Christmas is right around the corner, and the Michigan State basketball team gave the Notre Dame Fighting Irish the early gift of their first regular season loss on Thursday night. On this edition of "Current Sports with Al Martin" Al and engineer Isaac Constans give in-depth analysis on that game, and prospects for the Spartans moving forward. We also hear a clip from MSU's freshman standout, Jaren Jackson Jr., in which he discusses his recent foul troubles. Current Sports production assistant Jon LeBlanc, who covers MSU men's soccer, joins the show. He talks with Al about the Spartans' chances of defeating Indiana in the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Soccer Tournament. FIFA has announced the World Cup group stage pairings, and Isaac gives his take on some of the matchups that will take place. To close the show, we hear a report from WKAR reporter Kevin Lavery detailing a new MSU K-9 Unit program that trains dogs to sniff out explosives; Al also recounts his thoughts on the Detroit Lions during Reflection Friday.
