MSU's Ryan Sierakowski: "We are here to win it all."

MSU Athletics

The Michigan State men's soccer team is headed to the College Cup after beating James Madison, 2-1, in the Elite Eight on Saturday evening at DeMartin Stadium. This the is first College Cup appearance for the program since 1968, when the Spartans won the national title.

MSU senior forward Ryan Sierakowski scored both goals for the Spartans on Saturday. Sierakowski joined Current Sports with Al Martin on Tuesday afternoon to talk about the emotional high the team is on and what the preparation for the Friday night match against Akron is going to be like throughout the week.

The Spartans will travel to Santa Barbara, California tomorrow.

Al Martin is the host of Beyond the Score, a new series coming to WKAR in the fall of 2024. Al is also sports reporter for WKAR news.
