Nick Ward Out With Hairline Fracture

Another big loss for the Michigan State men's basketball team.

MSU men's basketball junior forward Nick Ward has been diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his left hand. That injury was sustained toward the end of the first half during the Spartans 62-44 win over Ohio State on Sunday. There is no timetable for his return and his injury will be re-evaluated on a weekly basis. MSU is hoping Ward returns before the end of the season. Ward was averaging 15.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.

The Spartans have now been dealt two big blows in the injury department, as junior guard Joshua Langford was ruled out for the season a few weeks ago with a left foot injury.
