Chronicle of Higher Ed: Simon Charge Reveals Narrative About MSU

A writer with The Chronicle of Higher Education puts national perspective on the charging of former Michigan State University president Lou Anna Simon in connection with the Larry Nassar sexual abuse case. 

Former Michigan State University President Lou Anna Simon was charged in Eaton County Court Tuesday by the Michigan Attorney General with lying to police in the course of the Larry Nassar Investigation. 

MSU Interim President John Engler has indicated that Simon will take “an immediate leave of absence without pay to focus on her legal situation.” Simon faces two felony and two misdemeanor charges with arraignment set for Monday.
