Free Mental Health Services Offered to Hispanic Adults In Capital Region

Thanks to a special grant, free mental health services are being offered to Hispanic adults living in Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties. 

Christian Ramirez and Yuliana Lopez are bilingual mental health therapists with Community Mental Health Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties. They told WKAR's Ondas En Espanol program that the services are offered:

- For Hispanic Adults who do not have health insurance

- It does not matter if the adult is U.S. born or an immigrant

- There are services offered in English and Spanish

- They are trying to breakdown a stigma in the Hispanic community about seeking mental health
