Thu. Nov. 19, 2020 at 7pm VIRTUAL EVENT | Come together for a special WKAR and Ele’s Place online screening of Speaking Grief.  The documentary explores the transformative experience of losing a family member in a grief-avoidant society. It validates grief as a normal, healthy part of the human experience.

Moving away from the idea that grief is a problem that needs to be “fixed,” Speaking Grief validates the experience of grievers and guides those wishing to support them.

There is no “right” way to grieve. By sharing diverse representations of bereavement, Speaking Grief illustrates that grief is a universal, yet individual experience.

Join WKAR and Ele’s Place for a special screening of the film, followed with a discussion with the filmmaker Lindsey Whissel Fenton and more.

RSVP HERE to join the screening and conversation around Speaking Grief from the comfort and safety of your home. Conversation with the panel begins at approximately 8 p.m.
