Pinning down Lansing's pro wrestling scene

Courtesy of Danny Shay

Before the International Ring of Grapplers (IROG) was founded in Lansing two years ago, the best chance of seeing moves like a piledriver and a Double Chickenwing, and the high-flying wrestlers who perform them, was likely on TV.

Since 2012, however, the pro wrestling league has staged more than 16 live events, many of them in the Lansing area.

We discuss local pro wrestling with Ricky PannellJr., one of the co-founders of the IROG, and Danny Shea, a pro-wrestler based in Lansing.
