Escape 20/20 co-owner Kathleen Fox stands in the dungeon room, opening soon.

You’re locked in a room and need to work with your companions to figure out how to get out within one hour. If that sounds like fun, Escape 20/20 in Okemos is for you. Current State producer Scott Pohl has the story.

You’ve heard of murder mystery shows and scavenger hunts, but in Okemos, there’s a new business presenting a twist on audience participation entertainment. To get the most out of going to Escape 20/20, you have to work well with others. In fact, for some, there’s more than just a social outing going on here. People have to work together in a way that could serve as a teambuilding exercise for work colleagues.

Co-owner Kathleen Fox showed Current State's Scott Pohl around Escape 20/20.

Scott Pohl has maintained an on-call schedule reporting for WKAR following his retirement after 36 years on the air at the station.
