Fenner Program Manager Jenny Mensch points out some turkey tracks in the snow.

The arrival of snow means it's time for winter activities like snowshoeing. Current State's April Van Buren slipped snowshoes on for the first time at Fenner Nature Center.

Now that there’s finally some snow on the ground, it’s starting to feel like January, and that means it’s time to get outside and enjoy all your favorite winter activities.

Fenner Nature Center is going to be hosting lantern guided snowshoe hikes every couple of weeks this winter, starting next Friday.

Current State producer April Van Buren went to Fenner to try snowshoeing for the first time. Leading the way is program manager Jenny Mensch.
