The Great Lakes Folk Festival kicks off next weekend in East Lansing. One of the musical attractions is the traditional Klezmer group Heartland Klezmorim from the Lansing Area. They join us today as part of our Live Music Fridays series.The band members include David Klein on trumpet, Ben Godoshian on percussion, Chris Hamilton on bass, Susanne Garber on violin (not in-studio), Will Metz on the tenor sax (not in-studio), and Drew Howard on banjo. Drew has appeared on Current State before, and he’s the main spokesperson for the Klezmorim.
