The Old Town BluesFest kicks off this weekend with a brand new name. It’s now the Michigan BluesFest. Musicians and fans will be gathering in Lansing’s Old Town neighborhood to listen to some great blues music today and tomorrow. To give us a preview of what’s in store, we’ve got a few of those musicians on Current State today: local Lansing songstress Twyla Birdsong, guitarist Elden Kelly and bassist Louie Leager.
We also talked with BluesFest organizer Terry Terry.
