Former MSU defensive end Auston Robertson is due in Mason for his arraignment Tuesday afternoon.

Former Michigan State University football player Auston Robertson is due in Mason today arraigned on a criminal sexual conduct charge.

At midday, Robertson was in transit from Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he was arrested last Saturday, to Ingham County.  Assistant Chief Prosecutor Lisa McCormick says Robertson’s arraignment is expected to take place at the courthouse in Mason by late Tuesday afternoon.

Auston Robertson faces a third degree criminal sexual conduct charge stemming from an alleged assault against a woman in East Lansing on April 9.  He’s expected to enter a plea of not guilty.

Robertson will be held on bond after a preliminary exam that determines if his case should go to trial.
