Petition Stops Lansing's Marijuana Ordinance. Now What?

After both medical and recreational marijuana were legalized this year's crop of Lansing city council candidates are tasked with taking a position on the future of marijuana in the city.

A new ordinance to regulate marijuana business in Lansing was all set, when a petition stopped it from happening. A group called Let Lansing Vote submitted enough signatures to the city clerk’s office to suspend the ordinance.
