Pop-Up Stories Storyteller Learns to Receive, Not Just Give

A Jackson man who has spent his live giving to others learns to receive in this week’s Pop-Up stories feature.

Our Pop-Up Stories public storytelling events invite the public to share their experiences on a topic at hand.

During our last event at the Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson, we met John Willis when he shared this tale on the theme “Random Acts of Kindness.” As you’ll hear, the gift of a weekend away helped this loving husband, and father of TEN learn to appreciate a little pampering when he saw how it lit his wife up.

Check back for details on the next Pop-Up stories event.
