MSU Student From Zambia Named Rhodes Scholar

Nikkita Ngalande is MSU's 19th Rhodes Scholar.

A Michigan State University Honors College senior from Zambia has been named a Rhodes Scholar. Nikkita Ngalande is an actuarial science major in the MSU College of Natural Science.

She’s MSU’s 19th Rhodes Scholar and the first MSU international student to earn the recognition.

Ngalande plans to study mathematical and computational finance at Oxford University.

Scott Pohl has maintained an on-call schedule reporting for WKAR following his retirement after 36 years on the air at the station.
