The staffs of The Michigan Daily and The State News assemble the night before the Big Game to have their own football rivalry steeped in tradition. Or at least, steeped in effort.

Carrie Arpik, a registered dietician who works for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee, was quite busy during February and March, helping Team USA be at its best at the 2026 Milan/Cortina Winter Games.

The MSU Rodeo Club is passionate about the sport and culture, working hard to bring the unique world to East Lansing.

Carter, who is now involved in broadcasting and initiatives to create more opportunities for future players of color.
