For 14 years, Eric Schertzing has served as Ingham County Treasurer. About six weeks ago, he began charting a new path in representing Michigan’s 8th Congressional district, which includes Lansing and East Lansing. For now, Schertzing is one of four Democrats who’ve announced for their party’s nomination this August. Four Republicans are also in the race.
Schertzing tells Current State that he supports the Affordable Care Act, though he adds that Washington should have kept its word about being able to keep your doctor or your previous plan.
