Rep. Gretchen Driskell is running for congress in Michigan's 7th district against incumbent Tim Walberg.

Current State Guest host Kyle Melinn talks with Gretchen Driskell about her bid for congress. The Democrat hopes to win the seat now held by Republican Tim Walberg.

One of the most competitive congressional races in Michigan this year is in the 7th district. Republicans and Democrats from Washington D.C. have put a keen focus on the district. Republicans currently hold a 246 to 186 seat advantage in the U.S. House along with some vacancies, so Democrats need to take around 30 seats to become the majority party.

The Democrat hoping to replace Republican Cong. Tim Walberg in the 7th is Rep. Gretchen Driskell of Saline. Guest host Kyle Melinn talks with Driskell about her campaign.
