Dewitt's Nicole Carter and MSU student Olivia Demarest are on opposite sides of the presidential ticket, but come together on the importance of one issue - education.

MI First Election reporter Ally Hamzey spoke with the two Lansing area voters about issues of importance for election 2016. 

MI First Election brings together student reporters and media professionals to form Michigan’s largest election team, covering state and local issues affecting first-time voters.
