In a world where "I can’t breathe," is a symptom of both police brutality and Covid-19, these students must find a way to navigate their new reality. | WATCH THE TRAILERVice President and Chief Diversity Officer Jabbar R. Bennett, Ph.D., will introduce the project.

The panel will be moderated by Amol Pavangadkar.
The evening will also include comments from Dr. Prabu David, dean of the College of Communication Arts and Sciences; Susi Elkins, WKAR director of broadcasting and general manager; and Dr. Tim Vos, director of the School of Journalism.

“The Twin Pandemics” follows three students through the tumultuous year of 2020 as they struggle with the new reality of education under Covid. They share their struggles, triumphs, and tribulations as they combat isolation, coronavirus, and the tragic murder of George Floyd all while still attending classes. In a world where ‘I can’t breathe,’ is symptom of both police brutality and Covid-19, these students must find a way to navigate their new reality.
