Life is a little different this holiday season. We’re doing virtual holiday meals, contactless cookie drops, and wearing masks in addition to hats and mittens.
For our new series “Messages from the Mitten,” WKAR wants to know what you’re doing this holiday season. Are you creating new routines, adapting old ones, or finding new ways to make memories?
Are you caroling via Zoom? Maybe you’re figuring out how to share a holiday meal from afar or playing virtual games of euchre. We want to know about how you’re meeting the moment and coping with a different holiday season this year. Nothing is too small or too big.
We want to know about your hopes and your fears for this season. Let us know if you’ve experienced a different holiday season before. How did you handle it?
Brings us into your moments of joy. Take us along as your family bakes cookies (record the sound of the mixer, or other kitchen sounds), or tell us a story about how you’re getting outside!
Please send us a voice memo, using the voice memo app on your phone to mitten@wkar.org with the subject “Mitten” - or give us a call at (517) 355-WKAR. For full instructions, click here.
