MSU Violin Professor Dmitri Berlinsky performs a program of virtuoso violin works this Saturday at 8:00 p.m. at MSU’s Cook Recital Hall. Berlinsky will be backed by the International Chamber Soloists, a group he’s led since its founding in 2004.The concert will feature an international and multi-century assortment of music from Russia to Argentina, with many stops in between.

Current State’s Peter Whorf spoke with Berlinsky in his College of Music studio last week to discuss the International Chamber Soloists and Saturday’s program, which includes Antonio Vivaldi’s evocative Winter Concerto from The Four Seasons.
