Spartans Take Care of Buckeyes in Chicago | Current Sports | WKAR

The Michigan State men's basketball team beat Ohio State, 76-67, at the United Center in Chicago, IL, moving on to the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament.

Denzel Valentine had 23 points and Travis Trice scored 15 of his 18 points in the second half as the Spartans (22-10) advanced to the Big Ten semifinals for the fifth straight year. They are trying for their second straight tournament title and third in four seasons.

Next up for third-seeded Michigan State is No. 2 seed Maryland, a team that swept the Spartans during the regular season.

WKAR's Al Martin reports from Chicago.
