WKAR's Scott Pohl Talks About MSU Coach Jud Heathcote's Humor

MSU basketball coach Jud Heathcote

Michigan State University Athletics announced the passing of basketball coach Jud Heathcote. WKAR reporter Scott Pohl was a public announcer at the games for years. He talked about the coach's toughness, humor and how he personally connected with him. 

Heathcote led the Spartans to their first NCAA Championship in 1979.  

MSU announced Heathcote died Monday in Spokane, Washington at age 90.
