Both the Michigan State men’s and women’s basketball teams are on a winning track as Big Ten conference play is underway.
The MSU Womens Basketball team topped Northwestern 81 to 51 on Wednesday night.
The rebounded from a close loss to Rutgers.
"I thought it was good, I was a little bit worried about being flat some times," said coach Suzy Merchant. "It's a grind. That's our third game in less in seven days."
The team is 2-1 to start Big Ten Conference Play. They play Minnesota on Sunday night.
Meanwhile the MSU Mens Basketball team will play Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at the Breslin Center.
They will host Maryland.
MSU is the top ranked college basketball team in both polls.
