A Lansing non-profit organization is partnering with the Ingham County Health Department in hopes of tackling vaccine inequity. Cristo Rey Community Center is hosting walk-in vaccine appointments for the community.


Lansing Council Chambers Named After First Hispanic Mayor

There’s now a permanent tribute to Lansing’s first Hispanic mayor and city council member. On Monday, the city council chambers were renamed after Tony Benavides.

The Cristo Rey Community Center started in 1968 to help out Hispanics on Lansing's north side but now it's helping families of all types with everything from food to health services to counseling and much more.
