The extraordinary life, career and tragic death of Muppet creator Jim Henson is explored on a new PBS biography series, In Their Own Words.

Tue. Sept. 15 at 8pm on WKAR-HD 23.1 | Follow Henson’s career, from his work with the Muppets in early 1950s to his sudden death in 1990.

Follow Jim Henson’s career, from his early television work with the Muppets in the 1950s to his commercial work and network appearances, his breakthrough with SESAME STREET and “The Muppet Show,” his fantasy films and his sudden death in 1990.
