This weekend, the Sistrum choir of Lansing will be celebrating their 30th year. Current State's Jamie Paisley attends a rehearsal with this all-female chorus, and speak with their Artistic Director, Dr. Meredith Bowen.

The Sistrum Women’s Chorus of Lansing is having their 30th anniversary concert this weekend. The concert also serves as a bit of a farewell to their Artistic Director, Dr. Meredith Bowen, who has led this group of women for half of its existence.

Current State’s Jamie Paisley talks with Dr. Bowen to learn more about this, in her words, feminist chorale.
