Dedria Humphries is a dragon boat racer. She was one of the storytellers at our first Pop-Up Stories event.

Current State's first Pop-Up Stories event was last night, with music and a variety of stories from local storytellers. We have two more Pop-Up Stories coming up if you missed it. At last night's session, Dedria Humphries told her story of striving to win a dragon boat race.

We want to thank everyone who came out to Current State’s very first Pop-Up Stories event at Lansing’s Allen Neighborhood Center. We had great weather and a great lineup of stories about being “Hungry and Fed.”

Dedria Humphries was one of the storytellers who took the stage last night. She shared her story about being hungry...for the dragon boat gold.
