A night at the theater will become a time machine to the 60’s and 70’s as the Tony Award winning musical "Jersey Boys" comes to East Lansing. Current State's Jamie Paisley speaks with one of the actors coming to town for this week-long engagement at the Wharton Center.

Tonight, "Jersey Boys" opens at the Wharton Center in East Lansing. The Tony Award winning musical about the meteoric rise to fame of Frankie Valli and Four Seasons is not-an all ages show. The show contains smoke, gun shots, strobe lights, drug references, sexual situations and profane language. It's recommended for ages 12 and up.

Current State’s Jamie Paisley spoke with actor Keith Hines, who portrays Nick Massi, the original bass singer, bass player, and musical arranger for The Four Seasons. For him, that edginess was part of the appeal.
