This year’s Capital Area Blues Society competition winner, Twyla Birdsong, is our Live Music Friday guest today. As the winner of the local competition, Birdsong will be in Memphis in January to perform at the International Blues Challenge. She’s joined in WKAR’s Studio S today by guitarist Steve “Frog” Forgey, Mike Smalley, Angel Dottery and Clarence “Boonie” Dottery.
Birdsong will perform at a Christmas Blues jam on Sunday December 6 at Moriarty’s in Lansing.
