British choral master bringing Westminster Abbey traditions to GR and Lansing

He sang at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, was watched by billions when he music directed Princess Diana’s funeral, and this weekend, he leads the Grand Rapids Choir of Men and Boys. Jamie Paisley talks with Dr. Martin Neary.

Over the past few years, the Grand Rapids Choir of Men & Boys have been joined by a distinguished guest conductor, Dr. Martin Neary. The Englishman led the choir of Winchester cathedral for 16 years, as well as the Westminster Abbey choristers for a decade.
