LSO, MSU musicians join forces for Beethoven’s 9th

The Lansing Symphony brings one of the most famous pieces of music to the Wharton Center this weekend: Beethoven’s "9th Symphony." We speak with the Maestro ahead of Friday’s performance.

Friday night, the combined forces of the Lansing Symphony, the MSU Choral Union, the University Chorale, and the State Singers will be on stage at the Wharton Center to perform one of the undeniable masterworks of history: Beethoven’s 9th Symphony.

Current State’s Jamie Paisley speaks with maestro Timothy Muffitt, who will be conducting this concert containing one of the world’s most famous melodies.
