Friday at 3pm on 90.5 FM WKAR Radio | Take a break and enjoy the beautiful music from the Michigan State Symphony Orchestra!

The MSU Symphony Orchestra, directed by Kevin Noe, maintains an intense schedule of eight orchestral performances and two full opera productions each academic season. Focusing on maximizing learning through the rehearsal process rather than on the performances themselves, the symphony orchestra seeks to further develop musicians of all levels. Key ensemble skills include advanced listening and rhythmic techniques, score-based interpretation, and a stylistic awareness appropriate to the period of the work’s creation.

MSU in Concerts is a weekly hour of classical concerts from Michigan State University. Featuring faculty artists, student ensembles, and guests from around the world, captured in performance at Cook Recital Hall, Fairchild Theatre and Wharton Center Cobb Great Hall on the MSU campus. WKAR's Peter Whorf is the host.
