2nd annual Detroit Vinylfest: records, CDs, tapes, more! FREE!

Brought to you by the Detroit Bookfest team, the 2nd annual Detroit Festival of Records (aka: Detroit Vinylfest) is happening in May!

Over 70+ vendors will be selling vinyl records/LPs, CDs, cassette tapes, music-related posters, ephemera, t-shirts, and more.

Some musicians/DJs/rappers, etc, will be doing autograph signings.

And DJs will be spinning vinyl records.

Spark your imagination at this FREE outdoor event that combines a mega-science fair with a creative marketplace for curious minds of all ages featuring:

• Talented crafters, artists, authors, bakers and commercial retailers
• Inspiring group of tinkerers, hobbyists, tech enthusiasts and DIY fanatics
• A showcase of competitive robotics created by student builders
• Music and announcements by JAMMIN’ DJs

Kids can trim their bikes and ride in the Wacousta Memorial Day Community Parade on Saturday, May 23! We’ll provide red, white and blue patriotic trims (while supplies last) for families to decorate kid’s bikes, wagons, strollers or scooters, and a spot to ride in the parade as we honor & remember with gratitude all those who serve and served our country. Please Note: Decorating 10am - 10:45am, parade starts promptly at 11am. All ages with adult assistance.

Food, beer, and DJ Seven Whales will be bringing the funk music.
