For Neighbors in Action this week we learn about the Hispanic Latino Commission of Michigan from its relatively new executive director, Felipe Lopez Sustaita.
The Hispanic Latino Commission of Michigan is a division of the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). The Commission strives to market the state's career development services to Michigan Hispanics, encourage initiatives to reduce the high school dropout rates of Hispanic youth, and facilitate efforts to increase the enrollment of Hispanics in postsecondary education and training programs.
Over the summer they appointed a new executive director. Dr. Felipe Lopez Sustaita joins us for Neighbors in Action.
