Claressa Shields Returns to Flint

WKAR
Claressa Shields takes a bite out of one of her two gold medals after returning to Flint, MI from the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympic Games.

Flint's favorite daughter, Claressa Shields, returned from Rio de Janeiro to her hometown in late August after becoming the first American boxer (male or female) to win back-to-back gold medals at the Olympic Games.

Shields was welcomed with open arms at Bishop International Airport by her friends, family, and dignitaries. WKAR's Al Martin reports from the homecoming and tells us how her family has been the foundation of her success.
