MSU Rolls Rutgers to End Losing Streak

WKAR's Current Sports
MSU sophomore running back LJ Scott gives thoughts on the 49-0 shutout win over Rutgers on Saturday afternoon.

The Michigan State football team ended a seven game skid with a 49-0 shutout win over Rutgers on Saturday afternoon at Spartan Stadium. It was the first win of the Big Ten season for the Spartans and the fourth time in head coach Mark Dantonio's tenure that his defense didn't allow a point.

Tyler O’Connor threw three touchdowns and completed 10 of 15 passes for 141 yards. Sophomore running back LJ Scott ran 20 times for 122 yards and a score as the Spartans gained 440 yards of offense, 277 of them on the ground.
