LaVar and Lonzo Ball; Los Angeles Dodgers; LJ Scott; Allen Gant; Michigan Football; High School Football; Zach Berridge; Otis Wiley; Michigan State Football.

See that date to the left? That's today, and "Current Sports with Al Martin" has a lot on the plate. As Al and engineer Isaac Constans prepare to emcee the homecoming parade for their second straight year, they also have a lot do to prepare you for the weekend ahead. After brief tangents on LaVar Ball, the father of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, and the Los Angeles Dodgers, heading into their first World Series since 1988, the show starts early with the first guest. Allen Gant, former University of Michigan linebacker and now broadcaster, previews the game ahead for the Wolverines. Gant also addresses the pressure in the locker room and what it feels like. Then, there's lots of pressure in mid-Michigan too, but not just for Michigan State. High school teams try to make the playoffs in the last regular season week, and WILX sports reporter Zach Berridge provides his thoughts and predictions for the night ahead. With playoffs around the corner, scan the local scene. Sending you into homecoming weekend, former MSU safety Otis Wiley comes back to the show to preview MSU-Indiana. And from there, he answers the burning question of what is going on with LJ Scott, recently arrested for a seventh driving violation.
