"Current Sports with Al Martin" discusses the events surrounding day five of the Larry Nassar sentencing hearings, and takes calls from listeners wanting to voice their opinions on the topic.  Al recounts the comments made over the weekend from MSU coaches Tom Izzo, Mark Dantonio, and Suzy Merchant in support of President Lou Anna K. Simon. How have these comments had an impact on the Spartan fan base?

Al and engineer Ian Hawley also discuss their thoughts on the Super Bowl matchup set to happen in Minnesota between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots. Al talks about his love for Tom Brady and Co., but Ian feels a little differently.
