Megan Thomas

Michigan State University; MSU Board of Trustees Meeting; Wilson Speight; Colin Kaepernick; Meghan Thomas; Reflection Friday; Scott Pohl

It's Friday, but it's far from a slow day here on "Current Sports with Al Martin." On today's show, Al discusses the news continuing to come out concerning the lawsuit against Michigan State University.  It was a heated Board of Trustees meeting and Al recaps what was said. Al also talks about the Seattle Seahawks and their decision not to sign Colin Kaepernick. The former quarterback was asked if he would stop kneeling before the National Anthem, and he declined to answer. Meg Thomas, AKA "Meg Scoop," of All Def Digital  then joins the show. She talks about her transition from acting to hosting, and her experiences that have led her to being involved in a Webby-nominated channel. To end the week, WKAR's own Scott Pohl joins the show for Reflection Friday. He talks about the time he had Michael Jordan read his son's basketball-themed comic book.
