Chris Bosio; Detroit Tigers; 2018 Moneyball Pro-Am Summer League; Nick Ward; Gabe Brown; Aaron Henry; Reflection Friday

I'm all hopped up on Mountain Dew! On this episode of "Current Sports with Al Martin," Al gives his thoughts on the Detroit Tigers' pitching coach, Chris Bosio, and his firing this week. Bosio apparently called Daniel Stumpf, a relief pitcher, a "spider monkey" as a nickname. When asked about it, Stumpf said he was unfamiliar with the nickname. The Moneyball Pro-Am is underway in Lansing, and MSU's players have been putting on a show. Engineer Ian Hawley was at the games Thursday night, and he and Al discuss which players are poised for a big season in 2018-2019. To close the show, Al looks back on his favorite moment of the week in Reflection Friday.
