All Jackson public schools will be closed on Friday, April 20.
The district says shots fired at the nearby Renaissance Apartments on West Michigan struck Jackson High School.
No one was injured.
But all students and staff will have tomorrow off.
There will be crisis counselors available for any Jackson high school staff and students tomorrow and when school resumes on Monday.
