Meet the walkaround Julia!

FREE -- Saturday, March 24, 1-4pm at WKAR Studios | You’re invited to sensory-friendly WKAR Family Fun Day!

Bring your family to the WKAR studios for a day of fun, sensory-friendly activities. Families and friends will also have a chance to meet walkaround Julia, the Sesame Street friend who does things in her own unique way!

Activities for all families include various musical experiences, puppets from FARM! the musical, coloring pages, live animals, puzzles, bean bag toss game, modeling dough and sensory-friendly/alternative learners programming. Caregivers will get a chance to learn about local resources and programs available for special needs families.

WHERE
WKAR Studios B and F, Communication Arts & Sciences Building, 404 Wilson Road, on the Michigan State campus.

PARKING
Parking is free in the adjacent Trowbridge Road parking ramp and nearby lots.

WKAR Family Fun Day is a supportive and welcoming environment to those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, and sensory processing disorders.? Families are encouraged to bring headphones, fidgets, or other supportive materials; and, a quiet room will be available. All families are welcome.
