Japanese ramen “pops up” in Lansing restaurants

There’s a new restaurant popping up in the Lansing area. Supu Sugoi is a pop-up ramen shop that’s been partnering with local restaurants to bring Lansing area restaurants authentic Japanese fare. We talk to co-creator Dominic Cochran.

A new pop-up project is bringing Japanese style ramen to restaurants all over the Lansing area.

Current State’s April Van Buren had a chance to talk to the couple behind Supu Sugoi and attend one of their dinners last night. She stopped by the kitchen at Hannah’s Coney Island to talk to Dominic Cochran as he was preparing for the night's dinner. He and his wife Mai are the masterminds behind Supu Sugoi.
