Festival of Trees turns historic Lansing home into Victorian snow globe

The https://vimeo.com/119565278" target="_blank">Festival of Trees at the historic Turner-Dodge House encourages businesses and individuals to craft Christmas trees that reveal something about their inventors. Current State’s Kevin Lavery tours the 1858 mansion.

The Festival of Trees gives businesses and civic organizations a chance to create artistic trees that convey a distinct theme. The event takes place at the historic Turner-Dodge House in Old Town Lansing, a Victorian-era home built in 1858.

Current State’s Kevin Lavery met Friends of Turner-Dodge president Michael Beebe there for a tour.

Kevin Lavery served as a general assignment reporter and occasional local host for Morning Edition and All Things Considered before retiring in 2023.
